I’d have to take it a step further and turn it into a somewhat loose tank top, tucked into a skirt. Great texture!
I always make small pieces and have no idea what to do with them when I’m done - this is a great alternative to my pile of pincushions.

Great title! I’m a sucker for bows and stripes, so this was right up on the list of tutorials I wanted to feature. Changing up your wardrobe through cutting and sewing is a great way to get new pieces without spending a lot of money. So get out your scissors & imagination and you’ll have the opportunity to say ‘oh, this old thing?! I made it!’
Lately I’ve been on a sewing kick. I need to make a tailor’s ham to press those difficult curved seams.
